I really wish the game did a better job explaining what these issues mean in tooltips. The district has full coverage from medical/fire/police and garbage, so I have no idea why it's giving me this complaint.
Any thoughts? I'm flumoxed how I can have thousands of people living happily yet not enough working to cover a tiny fraction of commercial or industrial buildings.Īlso, in another city attempt I've noticed large numbers of my industrial sector complaing they don't 'have enough services'.
I have full coverage of Elementary and Highschool education and partial coverage of University, I have high desnity housing near industrial with more limited education to supply workers (yay social engineering) yet no matter what I do I keep having these issues. The demand for the sectors are moderate/high, with new businesses comming in almost as soon as I bulldoze abandoned buildings but then the cycle repeats. I have one city of 6,000 people yet the industrial and commerical centers keep abandoning buildings due to low workers (or more rarely, low customers). I'll get a nice city preplanned and districted out, start laying residential, get a lot of people then lay industrial/commericial (most/all low density) and whatever com/ind i lay immeadiately starts having major work shortage problems even if I have very few buildings. I'm using the cheat mode to just pracitice building cities, I keep running into this issue however.
